Cherokee County, Iowa

Cherokee County is located in northwestern Iowa. It is named for the Cherokee Native Americans.
The seat and largest city are both Cherokee. The Little Sioux River flows through the county.
Cherokee County borders O'Brien, Buena Vista, Ida, Woodbury and Plymouth Counties.
Main highways include US-59, IA-3, IA-7 and IA-31.
